Another Kiko product that I bought while I was in Rome is the Soft Focus concealer. I really needed a new concealer for under my eyes. I have been using the Rimmel Match Perfection and Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer for a long time and I must say that they're both great. But today I'll tell you about the Soft Focus Concealer.
I got mine in the shade 02.
I use Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch 02 Nude and Rimmel Match Perfection 010 Ivory for reference.
It has a sleek packaging, feels expensive and sturdy. The cap is secure so I'd carry it in my bag without worrying. I have a real phobia of my make up stuff leaking into my my up bag -or worse- my handbag. So I really only carry things that are in a safe packaging.
Since this is an illuminating concealer, I use it under my eyes. Application is very easy, you press at the back of the packaging just like a ball pen and the concealer will come out. I use the brush at the end directly when I only apply it under my eyes. I must say that the first few applications i got either too little or too much product so it was a little disappointing but then I got the hang of it and started getting the right amount.
I put little dots around my eyes, especially in the inner corners and then gently tap with my ring fingers and pray my dark circles and under eye bags go away. And they kinda do. I mean, there's only so much that a concealer can do on its own. If you get a colour corrector and then a concealer you'd surely get more results but I must say I like the results this concealer gives in under a minute, and they prep me up for a nice start for the day ahead.
The thing I'd like to mention the most about this product is that, it has a powdery, matte finish. Once it starts drying, it's almost like it has a powder on it. Which is great, because you normally want to apply powder over your concealer so it stays where it is. With this one, I don't really feel the need to powder on a daily basis and it stays put. If it's July and you're going to be out and about, powder. But if you're going to work at 8 am and you're going to be in an air conditioned plaza for 9 hours, don't. That's how I do anyway. But I must also say that not everyone would like this feature as because of the powdery finish it has, it tends to go inside the fine lines around the eyes. If you have wrinkles around your eyes, you'd like to go for something more dewy, something that doesn't settle inside your fine lines.
Other than that, this is the concealer I use daily and I'm really happy that I'll spend the summer with it! ~

Oncelikle cok saglam ve zengin gorunen bir kabi oldugunu soylemeliyim. Ayrica kapagi da cok saglam, boylece hic gerilmeden makyaj cantama koyabiliyorum. Ben her zaman makyaj cantama koydugum seylerin kapaginin duzgun kapanip kolay acilmiyor olmasina dikkat ederim cunku makyaj cantama ya da normal cantama makyaj malzemesi akmasindan oldukca korkuyorum.
Bu kapaticinin aydinlatici ozelligi oldugu icin bunu gozaltlarimda kullaniyorum genellikle. Kullanimi cok kolay, arkadaki kalem arkasi gibi tusa bastikca urun veriyor. Baslarda ya cok az ya cok fazla urun alip biraz delirdim ama sonra olaya isindim. Ucundaki fircadan direkt goz altlarima nokta nokta uygulayip sonra yuzuk parmagimla yayiyorum. Gercekten de goz altimdaki koyulugu ve torba gorunumunu aliyor. Tabii ki mucize yaratmiyor, bunun icin renk duzenleyiciler vs. kullanmak gerekiyor ama harcadigim efor karsiliginda aldigim sonuc gayet iyi bence. Bazi gunler tek kullandigim makyaj urunu bu oluyor.
Bunu diger urunlerden ayiran bir ozelligi, cok pudrali, mat bir gorunum vermesi. Kurumaya basladiktan sonra uzerine pudra surulmus gibi oluyor. Bu benim oldukca begendigim bir ozellik oldu, cunku normalde kapaticiyi surdukten sonra uzerine pudra sureriz. Bunu surdugum zaman uzerine pudra surme ihtiyaci hissetmiyorum. Yaz aylarinda gunu disarida gecirecekseniz pudralayin tabii, ama sabahtan ise gidip klimali ortamda calisacaksaniz pudralamaniza gerek olmayacaktir muhtemelen. Benim olmuyor en azindan. Fakat bu durumun bir de olumsuz tarafi var. Urun kuruduktan sonra goz etrafindaki cizgilere doluyor. Eger gozunuzun etrafinda cok cizgi varsa daha kremsi bir bitisi olan, cizgilerin icine girmeyen bir urun tercih etmek isteyebilirsiniz.
